Negotiation when I moved in: no, it was fixed. Repairs: i fixed things myself.
What do you pay on top of rent?
Water: fixed share. Also paid separately: electricity, maid, cook, internet.
What stays in the flat?
The owner leaves: wardrobes, geyser, fans & lights.
Power and the building
Power cuts: backup covers it. Building age: 5 to 15 years.
What would you warn the next tenant about?
The lift is closed after 11pm, have to ask the guard to keep it on if you specifically require it. Maid expenses will be shared. About 5m of the street around is a lil dingy, and then a nice developed 5th main hsr road starts
Who are the flatmates?
Flatmates: all women. Kitchen: non-veg too. Shared cook: yes, cooks non-veg too.

You will have to find a replacement when you vacate; The flatmate is a non-vegetarian and is respectful of vegetarian boundaries (separate utensils, groceries etc)
